As Sr. CX executive, the role will be primarily responsible for day to day execution of transportation activities for our Cross -border and carrier haulage moves along with maintaining high customer satisfaction and the inland activity’s delivery, working with our customers, commercial and product teams to drive growth and meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Cross -Border specialist for UAE country and own large existing Cross-border customers along with support on implementation conversation for new opportunities actualisation (Major Cross -border pursuits)
  • Process all activities for Maersk Carrier haulage customers for Import and exports moves through UAE for assigned customers
  • Own and drive the P&L for the assigned set of customers (continuous improvement mindset)
  • Drive ownership of vendor program within the UAE execution team (through active coordination with other members)
  • Be a force multiplier to internal and external customers/stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of processing operations and compliance with regulations related to relevant inland activities
  • Manage E2E responsibility of the assigned customers (including the vendors) and work closely with /Procurement/Product to bring new opportunities to life
  • Be a role model for HSSE and compliance requirements for our inland activities (towards our customers through our vendors). Be an anchor for active audit mechanism towards our HSSE and complaince requirements within the Inland operations remit
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with the formalities of the movement of goods ( provisions, taxes, guarantees, etc.).
  • Work closely with our support functions i.e. vendor payments, Inland process owners in Global service centers to drive continuous improvements in the way we service our customers/optimise processes
  • Interact with road haulers/depot owners/terminal/Customs authorities for day to day operations

 

We are looking for

  • ’s degree in logistics or Supply Chain Management, ’s in business administration be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a customer facing or inland transportation coordination role.
  • Strong team player a must with an ability to multitask and strong customer orientation
  • Good understanding of the transportation sector/logistics/container shipping industry and an ability to relate with other associated industries (Retail/ Petrochemical /FMCG/Temperature controlled cargo etc.)
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with external stakeholders and within the organization.
  • Fluent in English (Read/Write/Oral)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using data to drive business results and ability to lead local transformation initiatives
  • Good customer engagement skills and ability to pick gaps in processes and address those

Key responsibilities

– Managing shipments E2E by validating destination, route, delivery time;
– Carry out operations in line with standard operating procedures (SOP) and contractual agreements

– Maintain proactive inter-departmental coordination to meet service delivery expectations.
– Ensure the account IOP is strictly adhered to by all parties.
– Ensure timely opening & closing of job files.
– Managing remote teams effectively to meet service deliverables
– Focus on process improvement from a customer perspective as well as Maersk internally.
– Ensure Maersk KPI is fulfilled against target.

We are looking for

– Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience in Freight forwarding/Shipping/OCE operations
– Bachelor’s degree
