THE YOUNG PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

The Young Professional Program is a free initiative delivered by the SAP Training and Development Institute. The program, which lasts for 3 months, is designed to give recent graduates the certifications and soft skills required to begin a career as an SAP Associate . At the end of the training, SAP TDI will work very closely with the YPP graduates to introduce them to a host of opportunities with SAP customers and partners to work as an SAP Consultant.

SAP CONSULTANTS

The role of an SAP Consultant can be divided into 2 functions: Functional and Technical. This program will be training Functional Consultants within SAP Functional Consultants work with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them to detailed technology solutions.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM A CANDIDATE:

Candidates will preferably have graduated within the last 3 years with a GPA in the top quartile – proof of this may be requested.

Candidates should be fluent in English, both written and spoken;
The program will commence towards the Mid-June 2022 and full-time availability from 9am – 6pm from Sunday – Thursday throughout the training period is essential. The Program will last for 3 months.
Due to the spread of Coronavirus this training will take place online in a virtual live classroom format. Please ensure you have strong enough internet at home to be able to participate in this program.

The Specialist Customer Success Partner (CSP) – Procurement (Fieldglass & Ariba) has overall responsibility for the daily management of assigned Cloud customer accounts, including account management strategies as well as engagement and expansion plans to ensure profitable growth within these customers. The focus of this position is twofold, to maximize the value that customers and SAP receive through SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba and SAP procurement adoption and use of the SAP Business Network and to ensure that the customers deploy and use of all of their entitled subscription software. The CSP is expected to serve as the point of contact for the customer and to maintain customer satisfaction through issue mitigation and escalation management. The CSP is responsible for retention of the revenue associated with customers within their portfolio, effective positioning of the specific Line of Business value proposition in order to leverage adoption of our solutions and services necessary to support the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement account strategies and implementation plans for emerging and renewal customers that further existing account adoption and identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts. These plans should:
Increase spend under management, network adoption, transaction volume and trading relationships on the SAP Business Network.
Ensure rapid adoption and enablement of solutions that drive value for the customer.
Expand business process automation across the specific Line of business applications.
Increase the customer’s usage aligned with their contracted cloud applications up to and beyond the entitlements that they have.
Complete Relationship Assessments, Outcome Success Plans, initiate tracking, and maintain associated tasks for each account in the portfolio.
Develop and nurture account relationship and engage C-Level and program sponsors to ensure customer success.
Track SLA performance, usage and adoption metrics, and overall customer satisfaction.
Meet or exceed account-specific revenue and profitability goals for account portfolio including but not limited to renewals, subscription software expansion, and network revenue growth.
Maintain a close working relationship with other regional business teams (such as SAP and Cloud LoB AEs, Services Account Managers, Product support personnel, Global Account Directors, Managing Partners and other customer facing personnel) in support of global customers and corporate functions necessary to support all assigned accounts.
Act as primary escalation point for cloud solutions for those accounts within their portfolio.
Drive opportunity development (including growth and qualification of pipeline in conjunction with assigned Account Executives) and accurate forecasting of the renewal and network growth
Deal management and commercial negotiation of the entire opportunity (from opportunity to close) for renewals
Facilitate quarterly Account Reviews and monthly Relationship Reviews with customer and Account team members to confirm ongoing customer account goals and strengthen relationships

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience with Fieldglass solution is mandatory (At least one-year experience)
Strong Procurement Line of Business specific experience:
Supply chain, Finance and Procurement and eBusiness expertise
5+ years of experience in at least one the following areas:
Managing complex customer engagements
Commercial experience including experience developing account management plans and negotiation
Selling or delivering consulting services
Customer relationship management and sales team management expertise
Proficiency in SAP Commercial and Account Management Systems: CRM, Totango,
Financial systems, financial planning and enterprise resource planning expertise
Complex Account Management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
5+ years of overall business procurement experience
Strong track record of multi-tasking/being highly organized and structured
Experience in Consulting, account management, SaaS renewals
Contract negotiation experience on either the buy or sell side
Analytical, and commercial savvy
Problem solving attitude with a Customer Focus.
Multi-lingual: Proficient in English. Arabic is a plus.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Customer Success Partner Senior Advisor possesses advanced/expert level knowledge of SAP and partner software solutions and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy.

A Customer Success Partner Senior Advisor interacts with prospective customers through meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions. The Primary role of the Customer Success Partner Senior Advisor during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that SAP solution can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles they often take on the role of a Solution Captain. In addition to deal support, a Customer Success Partner Senior Advisor collaborates with sales and IVE teams to plan and execute business development strategies through the use of Design Thinking tools and techniques.

Deal Support:

Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.
In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.
Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals.
Ability to effectively present to customers “remotely” using virtual technologies (SAP Virtual Studio and Adobe Connect).
Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.
Able to lead as a Solution Captain when deals require complex solutions and require multiple presales participates to support a successful customer presentation or demo.
Effectively leverage support teams who are there to support presales success. (Global / Regional Solution Specialists, CoE, IVE, Solution HuBs, Deal Advisors, Solution Experience, Product Management).
Demand Generation

Support one-to-many sales and events both on-site and remotely.
Lead & support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.
Sales Readiness

Develop close relationships with sales teams in order to promote effective sales methodologies
Participate in demo system design and planning and assist in configuration if needed. Participate in new product release input and testing and training of peers.
Serve as a champion for or participate as a leader in Solution Hubs and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE

5+ years of presales experience
3 -5 years of solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience in areas appropriate to the job
Demonstrates 5-7 successful engagements leading small teams on small-mid-sized deals
Expert knowledge/expertise on end to end processes/solution matching
Experience in sales and sales processes
Excellent presentation and communication skills English: proficient
