Sub Engineer Signal

Applications are invited by Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore for re-engagement of retired staff of Signal Department on contract basis for a period of one year.

The vacancies are for Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11).

There are 08 vacancies.

Eligible candidates must be retired officials from the post of Sub Engineer Signal (BS-11) or Signal Inspector (BS-16) in Pakistan Railways, with age not more than 62 years, having qualification Matric or DAE in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom (Board of Technical Education).

Alternatively, candidates with Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom with more than 03 years' experience in Railway Signaling Project are also eligible.

The maximum age limit is 62 years.

Selected candidates will draw salary according to their last pay drawn along with usual allowances, admissible under contract appointment rules.

They will not be entitled for gratuity and pension.

The contract period of one year can be extended further for one year if required by Pakistan Railways and on satisfactory performance.

The competent authority has the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.

Number of posts can be changed.

Selected candidates must pass medical fitness examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital.

Those who were retired, compulsorily removed, dismissed from service, or retired on medical grounds are not eligible.

TA/DA will be paid to candidates called for interview and medical examination.

Selected persons will be posted anywhere in the entire Railway System.
