FCPS-II Training at Shaikh Zayed Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore

Shaikh Zayed Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore invites applications from eligible Pakistani nationals for FCPS-II Training in Surgery & Allied Disciplines and Medicine & Allied Disciplines, as well as FCPS 2nd Fellowship Training in Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary & Liver Transplant Surgery, and Pain Medicine.

The training sessions commence in July 2026.

Eligibility criteria include: possession of MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by PM&DC, completion of one year House Job from a recognized institute, holding a permanent valid PM&DC registration certificate, and having passed FCPS Part-I in the relevant subject/specialty as per CPSP policy.

For FCPS 2nd Fellowship Training, candidates must possess First Fellowship FCPS degree as per CPSP subject policy.

Required documents to submit: Institutional Application Form, application processing fee slip, three passport-size photographs duly attested front and back, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), copy of FCPS-I result certificate, MBBS degree and detailed marks sheets of all professional examinations, copy of Distinction Certificate (if any), copy of BLS, ALS, ACLS, PALS & ATLS Certificate (American Heart Association certified), copy of Soft Skills Workshop certificates (Communication, Presentation, Leadership, Team working, Time management, Problem solving, Interpersonal, Collaborations, Emotional, Self-Management and conflict resolution skills), PM&DC valid permanent registration certificate, copy of House Job Certificates, HEC/PM&DC equivalency certificate for foreign qualifications (if applicable), Domicile Certificate, and copy of publications (if any) in approved journals.

Application processing fee is Rs. 2,000 for each specialty, payable online to National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore Branch (Account No. 3154820902) in favor of Deputy Dean Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore.

Forms are also available from the account section of FPGMI, Lahore on payment of Rs. 2,000.

Bank Draft/Pay Order will not be accepted.

Selection of candidates will be made on open merit basis.

Government servants should apply through proper channel.

Information provided in the application form will be verified at three stages: during submission and processing, at acceptance/joining, and during training.

False information will lead to rejection and discontinuation of contract.

Applications must reach the office of Registrar Medical Education, Shaikh Zayed Federal Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore before the closing date.

The institute will not consider incomplete or late applications.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview.
