Senior Relationship Manager & Relationship Manager

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the following positions in the area of Retail Banking: Senior Relationship Manager (OG-I) and Relationship Manager (OG-III).

Senior Relationship Manager reports to Team Leader and requires minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local/international university/college/institute recognized by HEC, and minimum 2 years of sales experience in financial institutions.

Candidates with banking sales experience in deposit mobilization will be preferred.

Relationship Manager reports to Team Leader and requires minimum Graduation and minimum 1 year of banking sales experience in financial products.

Required skills for both positions include sales management and good interpersonal skills, ability to work in field-based sales environment with frequent market visits, target-oriented self-motivated and performance-driven mindset, geographical knowledge of the place of posting, knowledge of banking and products, and strong oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Windows and MS Office.

Main duties and responsibilities: achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in account opening, deposit growth and consumer financing (Conventional & Islamic Banking); achieve cross-sell targets of bank products i.e. consumer assets and insurance products; conduct daily customer/market visits for new-to-bank and existing customers; manage and grow customer portfolio through market visits, referrals, networking and business development activities; manage liability portfolio by understanding customer behavior, balance trends and business cycles; identify attrition risks and offer suitable solutions; conduct competitive analysis regularly; maintain high service quality standards; resolve customer queries amicably and efficiently; ensure Tail Management by activation of dormant accounts, Digital App and ATM; participate in periodic mass customer contact drives/market storming; maintain MIS and business reports; ensure compliance with Banking Laws, instructions, regulations and procedures; address audit requirements and observations; ensure Shariah-compliant environment at Islamic Banking windows; complete processes within specified TAT; follow all SOPs; perform any other assignment assigned by supervisors.
