Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore invites applications from Punjab domiciled Pakistanis for the following posts on a contract basis at UET Main Campus.

Positions include Research Associate (01 post, NCCS), Research Assistant (01 post, NCCS), Research Assistant (01 post, IoT Lab), Software Engineer (03 posts, ESSL), Research Officer (01 post, CLE), and Network Administrator (01 post, IT).

For Research Associate, candidates must have BS (16 years) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Software Engineering, or a related field (HEC-recognized) with 3 years of relevant experience preferred in Cyber Security, specialization in Cyber Security, Network Security, Digital Forensics, or Malware Analysis, and familiarity with Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Python/C/C++, and good technical writing and communication skills.

For Research Assistant (NCCS), candidates need BS (16 years) in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with a strong FYP in Cyber Security may also apply.

For Research Assistant (IoT Lab), candidates need BS (16 years) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1 year of relevant experience; FYP in IoT will be encouraged, specializing in IoT, Embedded Systems, Sensor Networks, or IoT Security, with familiarity in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, MQTT, CoAP, and programming in Python/C/Embedded C.

For Software Engineer, minimum BS in Computer Science/BSIT with Python and Odoo expertise, with 1 year experience.

For Research Officer, minimum BS in Computer Science/Data Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or relevant field with strong skills in Programming, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing.

For Network Administrator, minimum BS in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related field with a minimum of 1 year experience in network administration, strong skills in LAN/WLAN, switches, firewalls, Windows/Linux, and network security.
