The Education Testing Council is conducting the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for candidates intending to apply for Commonwealth, Chinese Government and other HEC Scholarships for MS/M.Phil. and Ph.D/Doctoral Programs.

HAT is conducted in five categories based on 16 years or equivalent education.

The test consists of English, Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and subject-specific questions.

Qualifying score is 60 out of 100, and scores are valid for two years.

The registration portal opens on Sunday, July 19, 2026 and closes on Monday, August 03, 2026 (24:00 hours).

The test will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
