Resident Engineer - Civil (OG-I)

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is looking to hire a talented and experienced professional for the position of Resident Engineer - Civil (OG-I) under the Logistics, Communications & Marketing area.

The position is based at Jhang and Peshawar and reports to the Departmental Head - Civil (Central, North).

The key duties and responsibilities include: performing site visits for overall assessment of projects and assignments and reporting accordingly; preparing cost estimates for each project or task as per Bank's policy; reviewing and analyzing layout plans and discussing changes with supervisor and cross-functional teams; preparing bidding documents as per defined policy and procedure; reviewing and verifying project bills and invoices; coordinating with project consultants, branches and regional offices regarding projects; issuing valuation certificates for House Building Finance (HBF); supervising building constructions and renovation of the Bank; providing supervision of work at site where required; and performing any other assignment assigned by supervisors.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum B.E. (Civil) or B.Tech (Civil) or equivalent degree from a local or international university or institute recognized by HEC.

A Master's degree or relevant certification will be preferred.

Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience, preferably within a bank or financial institution.

Strong skills in project estimation, billing, execution, time management, communication, problem-solving, and MS Office are required.
