Business Analyst - Core Banking

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is looking for a talented, dedicated and experienced professional for the position of Business Analyst - Core Banking (OG-II / OG-I) based in Karachi.

The role reports to Unit Head - CBA Business Analysis.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent, and/or a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science from a recognized university/college/institute by the HEC.

Candidates with relevant certifications will be preferred.

Required experience is a minimum of 03 years in IT, with at least 01 year in Business Analysis or a similar role, preferably in a Bank / Financial Institution.

Experience with FIS Profile Core Banking Applications is a plus.

Skills required include expertise in translating business requirements into IT solutions, driving design/review of test cases, process change requests, excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills, and knowledge of digital banking, ADC channels and integration layer.

Key responsibilities include formulating and defining system scope and objectives, analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, analyzing industry/company technology best practices, identifying improvement opportunities, re-engineering processes, assessing system changes impact, writing test plans, conducting various tests (system integration, readiness, acceptance), reviewing test results, and considering business implications of technology.

The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, renewable at Management's discretion.

Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package as per Bank's policy.
