This is a combined advertisement No.06/2026 issued by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Lahore, published in the Nawa-i-Waqt newspaper on 31 May 2026.

PPSC invites online applications from eligible male, female and transgender candidates for appointment on a regular basis to the following posts in various departments of the Government of Punjab.

The main recruitment is for 21 posts of Assistant Director (SW&BM) (BPS-17) in the Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Department Punjab.

In addition, vacancies are advertised for Punjab Treasuries & Accounts Service (Finance Department), Mines & Minerals Department, Punjab Provincial Transport Authority / Transport and Mass Transit Department Lahore, Industries Commerce and Investment Department, Punjab Prisons Department, Water Management Wing of Agriculture Department, Housing Urban Development and Public Engineering Department, and Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (Home Department).

Appointments will be made on regular basis under the Punjab Public Service Commission rules.

Candidates must meet the prescribed age limits (generally between 18 and 35/40 years with age relaxation up to 08 years for certain categories) and educational qualifications.

For Assistant Director (SW&BM), a Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Public Administration or equivalent from a recognized university is required.

Other posts require three-year Diploma of Associate Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering or Master's in Water Engineering and Management, graduate degree in Psychology, or Secondary School Certificate with proficiency in Urdu typing speed of 25 words per minute and MS Office.

Selection will be based on a written test of 100 marks (some posts have 40% weight) covering subjects including Urdu, Everyday Science and relevant professional knowledge, followed by an interview.

The closing date for submission of online applications is 15 June 2026.

Applications must be submitted online through the official PPSC website www.ppsc.gop.pk.

Candidates already in government service are required to submit NOC/DPC from their departments.

Original documents including degrees, certificates, domicile, CNIC and registration certificates from PEC/PNC/PMDC/PM/PVMC or other relevant bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
