Role Overview

Guidepoint’s Client Growth Team is passionate about expanding our reach with existing clients. We support all of Guidepoint’s service offerings, helping to build relationships and communicate how Guidepoint helps clients stay informed and make better business decisions. Our teams are motivated to provide custom offerings designed to help every potential client make the most of their partnership with Guidepoint.

Guidepoint is looking for a Client Growth Associate to work on developing relationships with our existing clients across Consulting, Corporate and Institutional sectors. This person will support senior members of the team as they promote our subscription-based research service to various business units within existing clients in order to grow overall usage.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop a working knowledge of industry coverage and the competitive landscape.
  • Partner with senior team to increase user base at client firms. Monitor client usage to proactively promote Guidepoint subscriptions.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads within existing clients. Follow up on warm leads.
  • Meet designated prospect and meeting targets utilizing a variety of outreach strategies, including calls and lead generation efforts
  • Onboard new users effectively.
  • Work closely with the client service team to collect feedback on open projects as well as advisors we have sent clients for review.

What You Have:

  • ’s degree with strong academic record
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in either sales, business development, consulting, customer services and/or account
  • High level of fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.
  • Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Initiative and ability to handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders of varying seniority levels.

Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for an open position in Business Development at Guidepoint’s regional office in the UAE. Applicants would be responsible for selling access to our subscription-based research service and all other Guidepoint products and services, with a particular focus on regional Corporate & Government sector clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • With higher management, help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets
  • Generate revenue by forward sales plans and selling access to our subscription-based research service
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients within specified MENA markets across the spectrum of Corporate & Government sector clients. Proactively seek out opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects from regional Corporate & Government sector clients
  • Work with, and help grow, a team of sales associates to supplement & support your role
  • Book consistent flow of prospect meetings through desk research, mapping out markets, cold calling, emailing prospect accounts, and attending relevant industry events
  • Report and provide client/prospect feedback to sales leaders and higher management

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-6 years of sales experience within Consulting sector or a consultative sales role is required
  • Strong knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to client relationship management
  • Highly organized with experience maintaining Salesforce and similar CRM applications
  • Experience at selling B2B research products / information services
